Downtown Parking Update

Council Approved Changes to Metered Parking Hours

City Council has approved reducing metered parking hours to 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The metered hours currently go from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The time change will go into effect as soon as it is feasible for staff to change the posted hours on the streets and meters. City staff are working diligently to make these changes and an order has been placed for the updated decals and signs. PLEASE NOTE:  Posted hours remain in effect, until the signage and decal updates have been made.

Free Parking on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30

City Council has also approved free parking on Small Business Saturday, November 30th in all five City public garages. Shop local this holiday season to support local businesses and the community!

Council to Consider Free Weekend Parking During Holiday Season During 12/3 Meeting 

In addition, on December 3, 2019 the City Council will consider approval of free parking in the City garages on Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 7 – Dec. 29, 2019 to support the downtown during the holiday season.
