Recology curbside tree collection service is available December 28th through January 8th. Residential customers may place Christmas trees on the curb the night before your regular collection day. Trees larger than 6-feet should be cut in half and flocked trees will not be accepted.

Not sure whether to Reuse, Recycle, Compost or Trash your gift wrap after the holidays, refer to Recology’s handy Gift Wrap Guide.

Santa Rosa residents may also drop-off unflocked whole trees for recycling at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road daily 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. from December 26th through January 8th. Enter from Bennett Valley Road near the Jockey Club.

Tree drop-off at the Sonoma County Transfer Station is available December 26th through January 15th. All transfer stations will accept up to two unflocked trees at no cost.

2020 Holiday Collection Schedule

There will not be collection service on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Service will be delayed by one day for those holidays. Check your service schedule for holiday service pick-up.
