The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Mobile Registration Intake Center at Maria Carrillo High School will be closing December 9th due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the state.
Fire survivors from the Glass Fire still have until December 16 to apply for federal assistance. For more information on how to apply, click here.
FEMA also announced this month that the deadline for Walbridge and Meyers fire survivors to apply for federal assistance has been extended to Dec. 11. For more information on how to apply, click here.
Individuals affected by the 2020 wildfires may be eligible for federal aid and are encouraged to register with FEMA to determine their eligibility for financial assistance that may include rent, home repair, home replacement, and other serious disaster-related needs such as child care, transportation, medical, or other expenses.
Fire survivors are invited to register with FEMA for federal aid in one of the following ways:
- Online at disasterassistance.gov;
- Downloading the FEMA app to a smartphone or tablet;
- Calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585) between 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. The helpline staff can also answer questions about applications already submitted.
