We are living in historic times. With so much upheaval, I believe it is up to each of us to find ways to make our community better.
As a mother, I’ve served as treasurer of my children’s parent friends organization, treasurer of their youth sports team, troop leader in Girl Scouts, on church committees, and as union steward for ESC Local 20.
I am a woman of color with a masters degree, private counseling practice, public county employee, wife to a disabled veteran, and mother to a combined family of eight children, five of whom still live at home.
Now I want to help more people and our whole community as your next Santa Rosa City Council Member. As we deal with complex challenges of affordable housing, homelessness, police reform, a recessionary budget, road repairs and struggling local businesses, I know my capacity to listen and bring people together can help us find solutions and turn things around.
I’m proud to be endorsed by Supervisor Lynda Hopkins and Santa Rosa Vice Mayor Victoria Fleming.
If you agree we could benefit from a fresh perspective in City Hall, from a unifier and bridge-builder, then I ask for your support.
