Q5. Do you have Locker Room or Restroom access?

Sorry, no. The main locker rooms and restrooms are CLOSED for your safety. A single-use restroom is available that is sanitized by our night time janitors nightly and by pool staff frequently throughout the day.

Q6. Are we allowed to show up early?

We recommend arriving 5 minutes before your swim time (ready to swim, with suit on). While waiting in a safe distancing line for swimmers to exit, you will complete your wellness check.

Q7. How many are allowed in the water at a time?

Lap Swim: 1 swimmer per lane (Finley 10 lanes, Ridgway 9 lanes). Water Fitness: 24 participants.

Q8. How many feet apart are swimmers in the water?

Lap Swim: lanes are 8 ft wide, 1 person per lane. Water Fitness: 8ft-10ft spacing.

Q9. Are you screening staff and swimmers?

Yes. All staff and swimmers will need to pass a wellness check on arrival at the pool. A wellness check includes the following:

1) In the last 24 hours, have you been in contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19?

2) Have you had any of the following symptoms?

  • Cough
  • Fever (temperate above 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Chills
  • Sore Throat
  • Feeling Achy
  • Shortness of breath/ difficulty breathing
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Unusual or new headache in the last 24 hours
  • Diarrhea
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Tingling or numbness
  • None of the above

3) Temperature check (no temperature higher than 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit)

Q10. What if I do not pass the Wellness Check?

You will not be able to swim, and will need to go to your health care provider and be cleared by them before returning to the pool.

Q11. How are you keeping our belongings secure and safe?

All belongings will remain on deck behind your spacing lane marker 8 ft from the water.

Q12. How do you plan on transitioning groups in and out of the water?

At the 57 minute of the hour, the lifeguard will blow his or her whistle ending your swim time. You will exit the pool, put on your face covering, pick up your belongings and exit though the exit gate. Entrance and exit gates are different gates, so as to prevent contact with arriving swimmers and to streamline the transition.

Q13. Am I allowed to stay in the facility or parking lot and talk if I stay socially distant?

No. For everyone’s safety we need your swim time to be an in and out process.

Q14. Can I take a shower on deck before or after I swim?

Yes. You can rinse off at our outside shower, but it must be during your swimming hour.

Q15. Will Kick Boards & Fitness Equipment be available to use?

Yes. Kick boards and water fitness swim noodles and dumbbells will be available for use and sanitized between each use.

Q16. Can I bring my child to swim in the lane next to me?

Yes. They must be at least 12 years old and pay for their own swim lane. We are currently only open for aquatic fitness swimming (continuous swimming, walking, jogging up and down the lane) not recreation “play” swimming.

Q17. What happens if you are on the waitlist?

If you receive an email, you are NOT confirmed. You must receive a phone call from a staff member to confirm and pay for the class.
