The CHOICE Grant Program was launched in 2006 and with MEASURE O (2004) has funded non-profit organizations and schools with over $10 million in grants to support youth and families in creating safe and healthy communities. Currently, the CHOICE Cycle X Grant Program funds 10 Santa Rosa-based non-profit organizations with $1.68 million to provide services for the City's most underserved and vulnerable residents.

Community Helping Our Indispensable Children Excel (CHOICE) Grants

ANNOUNCEMENT: CHOICE CYCLE X FUNDED AGENCIES

On December 17, 2019, staff from the Violence Prevention Partnership made funding recommendations to City Council for the CHOICE Cycle X Grant Program. The City Council unanimously approved the funding recommendations totaling $840,000. The following list of agencies will implement community-based services under the CHOICE Cycle X Grant Program beginning January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.

CHOICE MINI-GRANTS

The City of Santa Rosa is currently operating under limited conditions due to the current coronavirus public health crisis. 

At this time, the Violence Prevention Partnership is not accepting CHOICE Mini Grant Program applications due to modifying the funding to COVID-19 emergency sponsorships.
