Sonoma County is our home. We see Santa Rosa as the hub of the North Bay with incredible unrealized potential. Our goal has been to provide unparalleled USDA meat processing for ranchers of the North Bay.
How… ...did you navigate the permitting process with the city to get Sonoma County Meat Co. up and running?
With optimism and perseverance. Because of the nature of our business, we had to work with regulators from the small to the large - from Farmers' Market managers to the United States Department of Agriculture. We have been grateful for every person who went out of their way to help us understand a system of codes and regulations that were at first very surprising. The individuals that work for our city are a hard working and knowledgable bunch.
