Daily Schedule

July 21 - 24 (Sunday - Wednesday)

IRONMAN Village Set-up

Set up in Courthouse Square. No vendors during this time.

July 25 (Thursday)

All activities in Courthouse Square

IRONMAN Village - noon to 7 pm

Join elite athletes, bike specialists, race vendors, city staff and event officials and so many more during the tune-up to one of the greatest tests of endurance on the planet.

The Village includes the Official IRONMAN Store and the VIP Spectator Credential Pick-Up as well as registration for the IRONKIDS Fun Run, which is happening on July 28.

July 26 (Friday)

All activities in Courthouse Square

IRONMAN Village - 9 am to 4 pm

RACE DAY! - July 27 (Saturday)  

Swim Course - 6:30 am to 7:50 am
Lake Sonoma, Wine Country, Windsor, Santa Rosa

Athletes begin the race with a 1.2-mile swim starting in Lake Sonoma. 

Bike Course - 8 am to 2 pm
Lake Sonoma, Wine Country, Windsor, Santa Rosa
(First cyclists expected in Courthouse Square starting at about 9 am)

Athletes will follow a 56-mile bike path that takes them through wine country, both sides of 101-North and Windsor before ending in Santa Rosa's Courthouse Square. From about about 10 am to noon, the first cyclists are expected to arrive in Courthouse Square, where they will transition into the run course of the event.

Runners finish the bike portion of the race in Courthouse Square and begin the half marathon (13.1 miles) part of IRONMAN, running one loop on a portion of the Santa Rosa Creek Trail. From noon and onward, the first runners are expected to cross the finish line. Expect non-professional IRONMAN athletes hourly, with some racers crossing the finish line as late as 4 pm.

July 28 (Sunday)

IRONMAN Foundation Community 5K
7 am start

The 2nd annual IRONMAN Foundation Community 5K presented by HOKA ONE ONE, with proceeds from this event benefitting the Santa Rosa Parks Foundation as they continue to rebuild from the 2017 Tubbs Fire.  

IRONKIDS Santa Rosa Fun Run

Have a young one looking to get in on the action, then have them come down to Juilliard Park for the IRONKIDs run!
