CREEK TO COAST CLEANUP ON THE PRINCE MEMORIAL GREENWAY

Saturday, September 21 | 9:30AM-12:00PM | Olive Park Footbridge (near 1698 Hazel St.)

Join us for the 35th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day, where we will help care for a restored section of Santa Rosa Creek that flows through the heart of downtown Santa Rosa. All ages welcome. Gloves, tools, and snacks provided. Games and raffle prizes.

DOWNTOWN UNDERGROUND TOUR

Monday, September 23 | 6:00PM-7:00PM | Prince Gateway Park (Santa Rosa Ave. and Sonoma Ave.)

Tour the huge underground culvert that runs under Downtown Santa Rosa. We’ll descend to the creek bed down a slope and over large rocks and walk across the creek (the water will be several inches deep). Wear your sturdy, closed toe, water proof shoes, no sandals. Bring your own flashlight.

ROSELAND CREEK TOUR NATURE WALK

Thursday, September 26 | 6:00PM-7:00PM | Roseland Creek Elementary School (1683 Burbank Ave.)

Join us for a slow picturesque walk along the flat, potentially uneven Roseland Creek. Come explore the natural bird and plant life in Roseland during this Creek Week nature walk. All ages welcome.

LAGUNA TREATMENT PLANT TOUR

Have you ever wondered what happens to your water after it goes down the drain? Join us for a fascinating and educational tour of the Laguna Wastewater Treatment Plant. All ages welcome. Sturdy, closed-toed shoes and socks are required.
