VIOLENCE PREVENTION AWARENESS SERIES (VPAS)

The Violence Prevention Awareness Series raises community awareness and provides education and trainings on the City's violence prevention efforts, in partnership with CHOICE-funded organizations throughout the year. The Partnership also supports community and civic engagement events through sponsorship's and mini-grants to support the underserved areas of Santa Rosa.

Child Parent Institute: Child Abuse Prevention Month Blue Ribbon Event

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time for our community to come together to focus more closely on building  caring connections, supportive environments, and positive experiences for all children. Join us in our efforts to ensure that every child in our community is safe and loved.

In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, we invite you to Rediscovering The Beauty Within -- an autobiographical story about Sasha Joseph Neulinger's journey surviving multigenerational child sexual abuse.

Santa Rosa Violence Prevention Partnership’s Tipping the Scale: Deconstructing Race and Racism with Dr. Sharon Washington!

As part of the City of Santa Rosa’s annual Violence Prevention Awareness Series, this three-hour virtual seminar explored the historical and social context of institutional racism, unconscious bias & racial micro-aggressions, as well as the development of social awareness and mindfulness for participants.  The seminar recording can also be found on Facebook and Instagram: @santarosapartnership

    • 4Cs is inviting all parents/caretakers with children born between 12/2/16 -9/1/17 that would like to enroll in one of our 4Cs Part Day preschool programs for the upcoming school year 2021-2022.
