Weather
Rides are closed on rainy days. Call the train station after 9am on the day of your visit to confirm, (707) 543-3425.

Snack Bar
A variety of food and beverage items are available for purchase from the Snack Bar. Items include popcorn, nachos, burritos, pizza, ice cream, candy, soda, juice, water, etc. and range in price from $1 - $4.
Parking
Parking is free at Howarth Park. If lot is full, additional parking is available on Summerfield Road adjacent to the park.
Handicap Parking is available near the snack bar, the boathouse, and the gazebo/playground. Bus Parking is allowed near the entrance/exit to the park. To access, enter the park and drive up the hill, turn left to go back down past the softball field and tennis courts. The bus parking is directly before the exit on the right side of the road.
Vehicles with Trailers may park next to the boathouse. There are 2 spaces available and they are for vehicles with trailers only. You are welcome to unload your boat at the boathouse, but if your vehicle does not have a trailer, please move it to a legal parking space after unloading.
Picnic Reservations
There are a number of areas at Howarth Park that you can reserve ahead of time to ensure you have space for your gathering.
School/Camp Field Trips
If you are interested in bringing a large group to the park, email us or call (707) 543-3298 for more information about our discounted group rates for K-Land rides and attractions. Your group will receive unlimited access to the train, carousel and animal barn (please note: animal barn is only open during our summer season) so don't wait, book your field trip today.
