Boating & Fishing on Lake Ralphine

Lake Ralphine is a 25-acre lake offering a variety of activities for all ages including boating lessons, boat rentals, fishing, and more. It is home to trout, bluegill, catfish, bass, and a variety of ducks and geese.

Boating Rentals


Paddle Boats


  • Price: $12 per hour
  • Paddle boats have seating for up to 4 people with 2 seats for pedaling and a bench seat for 2 riders. Non-swimmers and boaters 12 and under must wear a life jacket!

Canoes


  • Price: $12 per hour
  • Canoes can seat up to 4 people. All canoe riders must wear a life jacket.

Kayaks


  • Price: $8 per hour for single-rider kayak
    $10 per hour for 2-person kayak
  • One and two person kayaks are available. All kayakers must wear a life jacket.

Stand-Up Paddle Boards


  • Price: $12 per hour
  • All paddlers must wear a life jacket.

Sailboats


  • Price: $12 per hour
  • Our RS Qubas hold 1 person comfortably (can accommodate 2 in some cases). All sailors must correctly answer 4 basic sailing questions before leaving the dock. Last sailboat rental of the day is at 4:30pm. Sailing is best in the afternoon when the wind tends to pick up. Call the boathouse at (707) 543-3424 during operating hours to find out lake conditions. All sailors must wear a lifejacket.

Rowboats


  • Price: $10per hour
  • Our rowboats hold up to 5 people. All boaters must wear a life jacket.

Bringing Your Own Boat


You are welcome to bring your own boat to Lake Ralphine. There is a day launch fee of $2 per boat, or a yearly launch permit available for $10 per boat. These are available at the Boathouse during Rental Hours. (If you come during NON-Rental hours, you can launch your boat for free.) Boats over 20 feet are not allowed. Only electric engine boats are permitted.

Fishing on Lake Ralphine


Lake Ralphine is home to trout, bluegill, catfish and bass. Individuals 16 years and older must have a fishing license in order to fish at Lake Ralphine. Licenses are not required to assist a child who is fishing. Fishing is allowed year-round and all California Department of Fish and Game regulations apply.
