We Love Our Volunteers

Volunteers improve our parks, programs, and events through their incredible service and commitment to the community. We would like to thank each and every volunteer who has picked up litter, spread mulch, removed graffiti, coached a team, taught a class, taken tickets, served food, installed art or one of a thousand other good deeds. We love our volunteers!

National Trails Day Celebrated in Downtown
National Trails Day is a nationally recognized program that helps keep our trails open, safe, and enjoyable while emphasizing the protection of foot trails and their surrounding natural areas. This year, National Trails Day was celebrated along the Prince Memorial Greenway with a cleanup, where volunteers came together to pickup trash and clean along the walkway. The Greenway is home to river otter, kingfishers, egrets, and steelhead trout as well as parks, public art, and recreation. Thank you to the volunteers who helped take care of this trail and natural space!
