Intro to Junior Tennis (Age 5-8)
By using soft balls and smaller sized equipment, this class introduces the young player to a fun, energetic tennis environment while building hand-eye coordination and self-confidence through guidance from a coach. Wear comfortable clothing/athletic shoes. All equipment is provided. Classes held at Finley Community Park Pickleball Courts (2060 W. College Ave).
Beginner/Advanced Beginner Junior Tennis (Age 5-12)
Kids will learn to rally and play quickly with an emphasis on fun! Catered to a child's age and size by tailoring the equipment, court dimensions and scoring system, this class provides the basics as well as an introduction to scoring. All equipment is provided. Classes held at Galvin Community Park Tennis Courts (3330 Yulupa Ave).
Advanced Junior Tennis (Age 8-14)
Increase your skills with instruction on strategy, match play, high intensity drills and conditioning. Participants must have tennis experience and must be able to play competitive points. Small class size provides personalized instruction for each player. Tennis balls provided, but please bring a tennis racket. Classes held at Galvin Community Park Tennis Courts (3330 Yulupa Ave).
Summer Junior Tennis Camps (Age 6-14)
All aspects of tennis will be covered in these fun-filled, four day tennis camps. For 2 hours each day, the participants will have time for instruction, practice and games. Camps are held at Galvin Community Park Tennis courts (3330 Yulupa Ave).

Adult Tennis / Pickleball
Beginner/Advanced Beginner Tennis (Age 16+)
Classes will cover modern techniques and basic strokes, including: forehands, backhands, volleys and serves as well as basic rules and scoring. Using a mix of drills and games, students will learn and build confidence while having fun in a no-pressure environment. All equipment is provided. Classes are held at Finley Community Park Tennis Courts (2060 W. College Ave) and Howarth Memorial Park Tennis Courts (630 Summerfield Rd).
Pickleball Skills: Learn to Play (Age 18+)
This class is designed for first-time players or anyone interested in learning what this sport is all about. Learn every aspect of the game including basic techniques, rules, court positioning, equipment and strategy. All equipment is provided. Classes held at Finley Community Park Pickleball Courts (2060 W. College Ave).
Pickleball Skills: Beyond the Basics (Age 18+)
Take your game to the next level! Learn more effective dinking, volleying, serving, lobbing, safe overheads, 3rd shot drop and more! All equipment is provided. Classes held at Finley Community Park Pickleball Courts (2060 W. College Ave).

Meet the Tennis Instructors
Stewart has been teaching tennis in Sonoma County for over 8 years! He has played for both Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University and holds the 2008 ITA Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship Award and 2013 Assistant Coach of the Year - West Region. He currently coaches at Sonoma State University and also continues to play tennis competitively.

Joshua has been teaching tennis professionally for over 25 years and was an international head tennis coach in Japan for 15 years! He is a graduate of Sacramento State University, where he received a Division I program tennis scholarship. Joshua is USPTA Certified and a RPT Europe Certified Professional.
