The deadline to make roster changes will be September 29. To ensure player safety we will enforce a legal bat list on all fields. The winner of regular season league play will receive 15 championship t-shirts. The league tournament winner will receive a championship plaque. All teams are required to have same color jerseys with numbers on the back by their first game. All wood bat leagues will have bats provided.
High-Performance Bat Policy
Santa Rosa Recreation Department has a concern for the safety of the player's in our leagues, due to the technology of the bats being developed each year. To help with some of the problems the City of Santa Rosa will allow only single wall aluminum only bats for the 2017 softball season. At no time will multi-wall bats or bats containing composite or titanium be allowed. The City of Santa Rosa reserves the right to ban any bat during the season that may cause a safety issue, including some single wall bats.

Field Assignments & Requests
This year the Play Santa Rosa Sports Staff will decide all League Divisions and Field assignments. Field requests are not allowed, this is to allow for correct League parity, we try to honor request of night of play. Thank you.
We only register whole teams, if you do not have a team you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to ask to be put on the Free Agents list. At the managers meeting in May there will be copies of this list and if teams need players they will contact you. If you have not been contacted by June you can go out to the fields when games are running and if teams need players they can add you to their roster and you can play that night.
