The Technology Team is comprised of a Department Technology Coordinator and an Information Technology Network Technician assigned to the Police Department from the City's Information Technology (IT) Department. In 2011, an Administrative Analyst was added to the Team to help coordinate large projects and allow the Technology Coordinator to focus on research and design.
The Technology Team is responsible for:
Acting as a Liaison With the City's it Department to Ensure Software, Programs and Equipment Are Compatible
Coordinating All Technology in the Department
the Daily Maintenance and New Installation of Most Technology in the Police Department
Providing Technical Expertise Pertaining to the Purchase of New Technology
