Park Access Improvements at Skyhawk Park
The City of Santa Rosa is contracting with Yukon Construction to remove and replace portions of the park pathways at Skyhawk Park to improve access for persons with disabilities. Construction will affect the park at the pathway from Snowy Egret Drive by the school to the soccer fields; and from Mountain Hawk Drive by the playground continuing through the park to the corner at Great Heron Drive.
Construction is anticipated to begin in March and will last approximately three months (possibly longer if weather delays construction). Working hours are limited to Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Portions of the park will be temporarily closed adjacent to the construction area. For your safety, please respect closures and do not enter the construction area.
Public streets will remain open during construction. Construction vehicles are anticipated to remain adjacent to the park. If curbside parking is required in front of homes a no parking notification sign will be placed at curbside stating the days and hours during which parking will not be available on the street.
Thank you for your patience during construction. If you have any further questions, you can contact Camron Macdonald (707) 543-3769.
