Welcome to the City of Santa Rosa's
Arts Program! 

Arts and Culture programming for the City of Santa Rosa includes many exciting possibilities for artists and community members alike. Artists are encouraged to take advantage of numerous exhibition opportunities through the Art Exhibition Program, the National Arts Program, Art in Public Places Program and the Arts District. The community is invited to participate in art receptions, musical and theatrical performances, festivals and other events. Here are some of the programs we offer:

Deadline to Submit Qualifications:

The Public Art Program is seeking an artist to design and implement a mural on the walls of a new community pavilion at Bayer Neighborhood Park & Gardens in Santa Rosa, CA. This public art opportunity is open to practicing, professional artists residing in California.

After nearly 3 years of development including securing an Our Town grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Santa Rosa City Council unanimously adopted The Santa Rosa Public Art Master Plan on February 24, 2015. STREET PERFORMER PERMIT

In 2010, the Santa Rosa City Council approved a new ordinance permitting Street Performers in Santa Rosa!

The ordinance is now in effect. Permit applications are available online and at the Finley Community Center. Permits are free, and you must apply in person at the Finley Community Center with a photo ID.
