Reviewing Evidence


Discovery is the process by which both the prosecution and the defense receive evidence for a case. The Discovery Technician processes both formal and informal Discovery Requests. Requesting parties include the District Attorney, Public Defender, Private Attorneys, and Citizens representing themselves Pro Per.

Requesting Discovery


Criminal Case


If you are requesting Discovery for a criminal case, fill out the Discovery Order Form and submit it to the Records Bureau along with a copy of the Discovery Authorization form (provided by the District Attorneys Office). All items must be paid in full prior to the delivery or pick-up. Please allow fifteen (15) business days for processing.

Traffic Infraction


If you are requesting Discovery for a traffic infraction, please fill out the Informal Discovery Form and submit it to the Records Bureau. Please allow fifteen (15) business days for processing.

Civil Case


If you are requesting Discovery in a civil case, please contact the Discovery Technician directly as a Subpoena Duces Tecum may be required. Desiree Stiles, the current Discovery Technician, can be reached Tuesday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 707-543-4033 or by Email.
