Guidelines

This building is available for rent at the following times:
  • Monday - Thursday: 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Friday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Maximum Amount of People


There is a maximum of 200 people allowed within the facility.

Parking Plan


An alternative parking plan may be required. There is also some street parking on Donahue Street.

Extra Restrooms


Events over 100 may be required to rent a portable restroom.

Alcohol Policy


Outside alcohol is allowed to be brought into the facility. All alcohol must be delivered to the building prior to guests' arrival. Guests will not be allowed to bring in any open containers or additional alcohol. Alcohol must be served in clear cups. No one will be allowed to leave with alcohol during the event. All alcohol must be consumed in the room rented. Alcohol service must end at least one hour prior to the event ending. For Youth-Oriented events, alcohol service may not exceed four hours unless additional insurance is purchased. Facility staff will not check ID's or be responsible for under-age drinking or monitor the level of intoxication of any guest. The client is completely responsible for following all regulations regarding the serving of alcohol. (The City of Santa Rosa highly encourages the use of a licensed bartender).

Retainer


A post event walk through will be done. If no damage has been done and/or requirements have been met, the retainer will be refunded within 2 weeks.

Grass Area/Park Outside


The grass area/park outside included with the Barn rental, please indicate this preference during the rental process. (Outside area is included at no extra charge).

Use of the Audio Visual Equipment


Basic audio visual equipment will be handled by a City facility attendant. Use of the mezzanine screen will require hiring an AV coordinator for presentations( this is an additional cost).

Noise


For live bands or any other kind of music, volume should kept at a moderate level. You are also required to keep the doors closed.

Non-Profit Discounted Rate


There is a 10% discount on room rate for non-profit organizations.

Provided Tables & Chairs


(14) five-foot round tables, (4) six-foot buffet tables, (2) redwood wine barrel bars, chairs 4 high-boy tables.

Use of the Kitchen


Catering kitchen includes: commercial refrigerator, dishwasher, warming ovens and coffee system. There is no oven or stove top in the kitchen. Caterers are allowed to bring BBQs or mobile kitchens for cooking outside.

ADA Compliance


The building is ADA compliant.

Outside Caterers/Vendors


Exclusive caterer not required.

Decorating Policy


No flame allowed! Decorating is allowed. However, no balloons, confetti, glitter, nails, staples, duct tape or scotch tape allowed (drafting and gaffer's tape are allowed).
