The Santa Rosa Fire Department provides numerous Community Outreach activities to all age groups and areas of the City. We also work as part of the Fire Prevention Bureau to provide resources and education to enable the community to better handle and prevent common emergencies.

Citizens Organized to Prepare for Emergencies (COPE), was started by residents of the Santa Rose Community of Oakmont, in cooperation with the Santa Rosa Fire Department and the American Red Cross.
