Through its goal setting process, the City Council directed development of a work plan for annexing the unincorporated Roseland area. A number of coordinated efforts are underway which are related to annexation of this approximately 715-acre unincorporated area.

Roseland Area Annexation Application Status
On April 3, 2017 the City of Santa Rosa submitted an application to LAFCO for annexation of the five unincorporated County islands shown in the map above. Once the application is deemed complete by LAFCO staff, the annexation request will be scheduled for a public hearing before the LAFCO Commission.
